Special Customs & Immigration Clearance

On arrival, we require the following documents:

1. Ship's Registration Document

2. Crew List

3. Passenger List

4. Individual addresses for all crew and passengers

5. Number of jet skis onboard (we have to declare these to Customs as their used in banned in the BVI)

6. Last Port of Call

7. Next Port of Call

8. Dates of arrival and departure

All of the above documents must be signed by the captain and stamped with the ship's stamp.

We have an agent in Virgin Gorda who can collect these documents from you in North Sound. However, if you choose to anchor elsewhere, we will require you to bring the documents to us at Village Cay, Road Town, or Sopers Hole, West End. If you are awaiting the arrival of guests at the Airport (Beef Island), we can collect the documents from there and bring them back to you once you are cleared.

If you wish to clear in and out one time, the norm is that we can do this within a 72 hour time period. However, if you are on charter and remaining in the BVI for longer than 72 hours, we are allowed to clear you in and out at the same time giving you greater flexibility in the time of your departure.

Yachts arriving from the USVI often take advantage of our seamless transition programme. Simply send your tender in ahead to West End or Road Town, we clear you and your tender takes the documents back to you. Alternatively, drop off the necessary documents with us at West End or Road Town and continue on your way. We will liaise with you to get the documents back to you at some point during your trip.
